L&L Massage Spa is a great place to visit. The atmosphere is relaxing, the place is clean and the attendants are awesome. I highly recommend 👌🏽
I don’t normally write reviews, but I had a very poor massage experience here today. First, the room was extremely cold. I asked the therapist to turn on the heater, but the room remained colder than outside (it was about 70°F outdoors). This made it difficult to relax. Both therapists left the door wide open everytime they left. Leaving me exposed if someone passes by. Second, I was covered with a regular towel instead of a proper massage sheet. The towel didn’t even cover my feet, which felt unprofessional. Third, the first therapist was unable to provide deeper pressure and mostly applied excessive oil with very light strokes, even when using her elbows. She did ask if I wanted a different therapist, which I appreciated. The second therapist was able to apply slightly more pressure but still lacked proper technique. I asked her to slow down and demonstrated slower, medium-to-deep pressure on her forearm, but she continued using very fast, back-and-forth strokes. Finally, when working on my legs, the therapist completely undraped both legs at once, exposing me above the glutes. This was extremely uncomfortable and could be triggering for someone with past trauma. Again, there was excessive oil and very fast strokes. Although I truly disliked the massage, both therapists were apologetic, and I don’t blame them personally. This appears to be a training issue. Proper technique and professional draping are essential in massage therapy.
Unfortunately this was a very uncomfortable experience for me. When I came in I was greeted and told to pre pay. I paid in cash. I got led to a room that had two doors. The second door was open and led right behind the front desk where everyone walked in. It had a curtain over it. The owner sounded angry and annoyed I was there, and the second door leading out to the front desk was open. The walls were very thin so I could hear everything. I didn’t get a chance to even take off all my layers before she came in. I said I need a few more minutes. There was no blanket or sheet to get under so I would just be laying naked. I asked her do I just lay naked here? She said no. She just kept saying “change” “change”. Rushing me to change but she would not give me time or privacy. I asked if she can turn on the heater because it was cold and she did. She told me to move my stuff off the chair I had all my belongings on, and I did. There were two wall hangers. I hung up my coat and she walks over and moves it and tells me I can’t hang it on this hanger either and it ended up falling from the second hanger. I felt very rushed, annoyed at, and not relaxed. I asked her for some privacy so I can change and she just stared at me. I motioned to her that I want to change and she didn’t get it and just kept saying “change.” At that point I was feeling uncomfortable. I was there for no more than 2 minutes. Between her being angry and annoyed at me, to the door being open to the front desk in my room and the lack of privacy. I asked her for a refund and left. I did not feel safe or relaxed here sadly. The reviews are so good too! I’d rather bring my money elsewhere
Stay away from this location!!! Stopped in for a 135 pm massage for 1 hour for 90 minutes foot and leg massage at $100 and asked to pay before massage. Then before the massage started, the masseuse asked me to tip more when the massage was done! Concerned as I hadn't tipped yet I asked her what she was talking about and she said I should tip 30% after the massage which was crazy as I hadn't even had the massage yet as she said I was a strong guy. Highly suspicious and will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. I asked for my refund and was told it would take two days to get my money back via credit card! Insane!
